Large Frozen Giant Freshwater Prawns
These large live giant freshwater prawns, also known as Malaysian prawns or big-headed river prawns, are blast-frozen immediately after harvest with ultra-low temperature technology. Each prawn features a plump roe-filled head, distinctive long blue claws and thick bouncy meat.
The thin ice glaze ensures true net weight with no water injection or soaking. The flesh stays firm and springy after thawing without turning mushy, retaining its original fresh sweetness. Ideal for garlic steaming, braising, salt-baking, butter pan-searing or seafood risotto.
Specifications: 500g per pack. Keep continuously frozen at -18°C. Whole and intact prawns with only basic washing and flash freezing, no preservatives or water-retention agents.
